“For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
Who is God? Where did you come from? Why must you die? These are important questions. Please read this story. You will find the answers.
Who Is God?
God lives in Heaven. God made the earth. God made the stars. God made the animals. God made people. God knows everything. God is good.
Where Did You Come From?
God made all people. The first man was named Adam. The first woman was named Eve. God made you.
Where Did Adam And Eve Live?
God was a friend to Adam and Eve. He made a beautiful garden named Eden. God let Adam and Eve live there.
Many trees grew in the garden. God said not to eat from the tree named “The Knowledge of Good and Evil (Bad).” If they disobeyed and ate from that tree, Adam and Eve would die.
Who Is The Devil?
The devil was a bad angel. He hated God and wanted His power. That was bad. God told the devil he could no longer be one of God’s angels. So he is God’s enemy.
One day the devil was in a serpent and talked to Eve.
The devil told Eve to eat from the tree named “The Knowledge of Good and Evil,” the tree that God had told her not to eat from. The serpent told Eve not to obey God.
The devil lied and told Eve that she would not die, but God had said she would.
Eve did wrong. Adam did wrong. Adam and Eve did not obey God. They followed the devil.
Adam and Eve ate fruit from the tree. That was a sin to disobey God.
What Is Sin?
Sin means to do bad things. Adam and Eve sinned when they disobeyed God. God made Adam and Eve leave Eden because they sinned. Adam and Eve died because they sinned.
Sin is bad. All people have sinned. You have sinned. God’s Book, the Bible, says, “All have sinned” (Romans 3:23).
Why Do People Die?
God’s Book says, “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Adam and Eve died because they sinned. God must punish sin. All who sin die.
What Happens When People Die?
All who have sinned will go to a place called Hell when they die. There are much sorrow and pain there. Hell is a lake of fire.
You have sinned. All people have sinned. All who sin must go to Hell.
But if you ask Jesus to forgive your sins, He will take you to Heaven. Heaven is a beautiful place where there is no pain or sorrow or death. It is full of happiness. Jesus is there.
Who Is Jesus?
Jesus is God’s Son. Jesus does not sin. Jesus came to live on earth. Jesus loves you. Jesus does not want you to go to Hell. Jesus is good. Jesus came to die for sin. Jesus died on a cross.
God says you have sinned. He must punish sin. God says you must go to Hell. But God loves you, so He sent His Son Jesus to die for you.
Jesus died on the cross to take away your sin. Jesus wants to take away your sin. After Jesus was buried, He came out of the grave. Jesus went to Heaven. Jesus lives in Heaven now.
How Can You Go To Heaven?
You ask Jesus to take away your sin. You believe on Jesus, and He will take away your sin. Jesus loves you. If you believe on Jesus, you will go to Heaven. Heaven is a place where there is no death. Jesus wants you to live in Heaven with Him. Jesus will take you to Heaven. You will never leave Heaven. You will be happy in Heaven.
Do you love Jesus? Do you believe on Jesus?
If you pray to Jesus to take away your sins, you will go to Heaven. Romans 10:13 promises, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Praying to the Lord is calling upon Him.
Here Is How To Pray To Jesus
“Jesus, I thank You for dying for me. I know you died to pay for my sins. I receive You now as my Savior. I thank You for taking away my sins.”
Tell Jesus you love Him. Tell Jesus you will live for Him. Tell others what Jesus has done for you.
Do this now. Do not wait.
Realizing I am a sinner, I now receive God’s Son as my Lord and Savior. By His grace, I will live for Him and confess Him as my Lord.
